At ‘Your Ananda’, our counselling involves working with the individual on a one on one basis in order to address his or her needs and difficulties. Through our therapy, we help people with physical, emotional and mental health issues to improve their sense of well‐being, alleviate feelings of distress and resolve crisis situation.

  • Types
  • Depression – Depression is more serious and long-lasting than stress, and requires a different kind of help. The persistent feeling of sadness or loss of interest that characterises major depression can lead to a range of behavioural and physical symptoms. These may include changes in sleep, appetite, energy level, concentration, daily behaviour or self-esteem. Depression can also be associated with thoughts of suicide. The good news is that depression is a highly treatable condition. However, it's not something you can snap out of by yourself, so it's important to get help.
  • Anxiety – While many of the symptoms associated with anxiety disorders are both obvious and predictable, others have a tendency to go overlooked. By speaking to a highly experienced psychologist or psychiatrist, to help you deal with your anxiety, you will be able to rid of the disorder that may have robbed your freedom for such a long time. Those not afflicted by anxiety disorders simply cannot imagine the feeling of having your whole body being overwhelmed with fear or abject terror for largely no reason at all and without warning. Generalised Anxiety disorder, OCD, Panic disorder, PTSD and Phobias are certain types of anxiety disorder that are present frequently.
  • Stress – Stress is good if it motivates you but it's bad if it wears you down. What may be a little hiccup or hurdle in the way for your partner/ friend may be a big deal for you. Everyone has a different way of dealing and coping with it. Some of us are well equipped in emotional management, and some of us are not. If you are stressed out, there are many good ways to get relief. Drinking or taking drugs however, won't solve anything and can lead to more problems. We as therapists equip your thought patterns and expectations to deal with stress. It can range from loss of a job or a loved one, chaotic home life, social anxiety, financial stress, loneliness, health worries etc.
  • Addiction – As the saying goes, Rome was not built in one day; so was not your addiction. We understand it is difficult to say ‘I quit’ and even more difficult to keep up with those words. Our therapists are dedicated in helping you to get rid of it by using therapeutic approaches for coping mechanism. Patience, perseverance, dedication and mindfulness are few of the qualities needed to take the step towards de-addiction.
  • Grief Management – Coping with the significant loss of someone or something you love is one of life’s biggest challenges. Here at ‘Your Ananda’, we help you heal through shock, anger, disbelief, guilt or any kind of emotions issues.
